He built his expertise through roles and affiliations with institutions such as PNB, RCBC, PBCom, Maybank, BDO, and the Asialink Group. Today, he runs multiple businesses in financing, collections, and fintech—bringing operational discipline and a strategic mindset to each.
As Co-Founder and CEO of Mount Fuji Lending, Miks leads the company’s mission to transform SME lending in the Philippines. He oversees strategy, credit philosophy, capital partnerships, and culture—ensuring the company delivers accessible, flexible, and supportive financial solutions while scaling with integrity.
A strong advocate of sustainable growth, Miks is known for his culture-driven leadership and deep understanding of the SME sector. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Fintech Philippines Association and is an active member of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) and the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP).
A graduate of De La Salle University – Manila, Vera holds dual degrees in Applied Economics and Business Management. She brings with her over 14 years of lending experience from Metrobank where she gained extensive knowledge on corporate governance, lending policies, and documentation. Beyond her technical knowledge, she also developed a strong appreciation for relationship-building and collaboration – values she carries with her in every role she takes on.
At Mount Fuji Lending, Vera fosters a culture of teamwork and shared learning. She works closely with the team to optimize operations and advance Mount Fuji’s mission of being a trusted partner of underserved SMEs on their path to financial inclusion and sustainable growth.
Mikee has been in the business lending industry for over 11 years. Before joining Mount Fuji, she worked at BDO Unibank, Inc., the country’s largest bank, where she sharpened her fundamentals and worked with businesses across sectors and sizes.
At Mount Fuji Lending, Mikee leads portfolio management and growth. She keeps a disciplined balance between credit quality and relationship strength, going deep into each client’s operations and cash cycles while building genuine, long-term relationships.
Known for her discipline, empathy, and bias for action, Mikee champions a client-first approach that balances prudence with possibility. Her work ensures Mount Fuji Lending delivers well-structured financing with integrity, helping entrepreneurs build resilient businesses and sustainable communities.
Jameson is an accounting professional with over 8 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, tax accounting and compliance, document processing, and records keeping. Prior to Mount Fuji Lending, he worked at an accounting consultancy firm where he served numerous clients across various industries.
At Mount Fuji Lending, he maintains the accuracy and transparency of financial reports and contributes to the growth and development of the accounting department and our company. With a penchant for learning new things, he strives for continuous development both on a personal and professional level.
Jameson has high interest in sports, especially basketball. He also loves to travel via his motorcycle.
Mich is a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in law, investigation, and corporate compliance. With an academic background that includes a BSBA major in Legal Management from Ateneo de Naga University and a Juris Doctor degree from Arellano University – School of Law, she is committed to legal excellence. Her career began with hands-on legal internships in the government sector, followed by significant experiences in corporate due diligence, investigations, process training and team leadership at Sterling. Later, as an Investigative Researcher, her work focused on meticulous attention to detail while handling high-profile background checks.
Further broadening her expertise, Mich served as a Compliance Specialist, managing contracts, addressing complaints, and drafting critical legal and regulatory reports, which deepened her knowledge in regulatory risk mitigation. She also contributed to operational efficiency at GS Solutions as an Admin and Operations Associate, helping to ensure contract compliance tracking. Her extensive professional background, coupled with her ongoing pursuit of law which is a childhood dream, positions her as a strong asset in navigating complex legal and compliance landscapes.
Outside of the office, Mich maintains a well-rounded life. She is a devoted animal lover, sharing her home with eleven adopted dogs, and she seeks out hiking and adventures for relaxation. An enthusiast of coffee, she finds daily motivation in the brew and loves to unwind by reading books and writing down her random thoughts. She is now the Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer at MFLI ensuring the company maintains the highest standards of integrity.
Hannah began her career in the public sector, serving as an Economic Development Specialist at the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDEV, formerly NEDA). There, she engaged in regional economic and social development initiatives under the Policy Formulation and Planning Division.Contributing to two of the agency’s annual publications helped strengthen her skills in research, data analysis, and statistics.
At Mount Fuji Lending, she found the right space to stretch creatively. Starting as a Risk and Compliance Associate, Hannah’s continued commitment and growth have led her to her current role as Marketing and Communications Officer. Today, she brings that same drive and intention into how we speak our brand, live out our culture and values, and grow closer to the SME community we serve.
Journaling and music add rhythm to her daily routine. In her spare time, Hannah immerses herself in books, films, or shows that resonate with her, finding joy in exploring new ideas and perspectives.
Rommel possesses a strong foundation in accounting principles, taxation, and financial analysis. His background reflects both academic excellence and practical experience in key areas such as financial reporting, accounts receivable, tax compliance, and bookkeeping.
He demonstrates a genuine commitment to the field of finance and accounting, continuously refining his analytical and technical skills to deliver accurate and reliable results. Rommel is driven by a goal-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement, both personally and professionally.
Outside of work, Rommel enjoys engaging in mentally stimulating activities such as playing puzzles and billiards. These activities not only serve as his outlets for stress relief but also reflect his patience, discipline, and persistence in achieving goals.
Laura is a graduate of the University of Makati, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing Management. Previously, she worked as a customer service representative in one of the BPO companies in the Philippines. Additionally, she completed her internship at the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Laura actively engaged in community service, dedicating her time as a student volunteer at the Comembo Health Center. Additionally, she gained firsthand experience in municipal operations during her Senior High School internship at the Makati City Hall, specifically within the Realty and Tax Department.
Motivated by her diverse experiences, Laura sets her sights on Mt. Fuji, aspiring not only to enhance her hard skills but also to imbibe the profound values and principles it embodies.
Nathalie Joy M. Morillo is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Financial Management at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Her academic background equipped her with strong analytical, financial, and customer relation skills. Through her internships in both the banking and non-banking sectors, Nathalie honed her abilities in credit evaluation, account management, and customer relation, while demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Nathalie began as an intern and later became a full-time employee at Mount Fuji Lending Inc. Nathalie continues to apply and refine her financial skills while contributing to Mount Fuji’s mission of providing innovative lending solutions. She looks forward to rising in ranks and supporting Mount Fuji’s growth in the lending industry.
Nathalie enjoys exploring personal finance trends, watching netflix, doing outdoor extreme activities and spending time with family and friends —reflecting her curiosity and versatile personality.
Coming from the public sector, Patrick has extensive experience with diverse stakeholders. Having served in the Legislative Branch as an Administrative Officer under the Office of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and in the Executive Branch as an Administrative, Field and Political Officer under the Office of Vice President Leni Robredo. During his eight year stint serving different institutions he developed government administrative and public service skills that are people centered.
Patrick is very family oriented. His interests include cars, Korean dramas, Korean pop music, Korean observational variety shows, geopolitics, and history.
As part of the Mount Fuji Lending family, Patrick wants to contribute by applying the best practices he gained in the public service sector and give the best service possible for our clients and senior leadership.
